In March 1985, The Motion Picture Company, Inc. became a vital conduit in the world of motion picture and television production. In the early years, the company focused mainly on producing film and TV projects in Hollywood, New York and Orlando . MPC based Headquarters on the Disney Studios Back lot at Lake Buena Vista, Florida. When camera support or production tools were needed to accomplish the highest level of creative filmmaking during the production growth in Florida, MPC stepped up to the plate and organized the largest equipment division in the Southeast supporting production companies on a rental bases with highly specialized motion picture gear and camera essentials. MPC had first priority over all the equipment with the Walt Disney Company, as its main client, followed by Universal Studios and Panavision Cameras. MPC warehoused over $12,000,000.00 of equipment including 10 Steadicams (Camera stabilizing apparatus), mobile camera cranes, jib arms with remote controlled camera heads, camera extension raisers, photo sensitive glass, stage camera cranes and other highly specialized gear found only in Hollywood, New York or London. The company rapidly grew servicing the main television networks and top 10 entertainment studios worldwide. MPC was the recognized specialist for 'moving the shot'. Ten years later, as the profile of support equipment changed with new manufacturers building equipment spin spin-offs widening the competitive landscape. MPC acted by understanding the trends and focusing on equipment sales and manufacturing camera extension arms, safety pedestals and other production support equipment including the first environmentally safe mobile camera truck crane. Meanwhile, the company was contracted to oversee the construction, management and staffing of two major sound studios. The MPC production division was developing programming content, producing episodic television for other production companies and called upon to consult major studios on development of motion picture productions in the Southeast region. In 1997 MPC was privileged to assist TV support for marketing and media relations departments, specifically working as Consulting Producers and Directors for Walt Disney World, Disney Pictures, ABC, Mc Donald's, General Motors, Disneyland Special Events and several TV stations around the globe. MPC aggressively purchased rights to several scripted motion picture and television projects and began focusing on projects the company had ownership and believed to be marketable to the TV and feature film markets. To facilitate the slate of motion pictures, television movies of the week, TV series, digital convergence and new media projects, MPC has evolved into a mini-studio. As a private "C" corporation, the company has the ability to move faster, be far more fiscally cautious, and able to cut through the fog of red tape or corporate waste commonly known in big studio bookkeeping. These highly entertaining and family valued scripts are currently in some production or a development stage. The master plan is to develop all the currently owned projects through 2015, distribute the films and grow the mini-studio MPC set out to become 25 years ago. The company has ownership in TMH Productions, LLC, www.MYTVLAND.com and has partnered with other creative production companies. All new productions are scheduled to be shot using the most current formats including HD-Cinema and 3D presentations. The company eliminated all "tape", replacing it with the new File and Work Flow transfer systems. These new systems are the latest trend for syndication, broadcast and the feature film markets. The Motion Picture Company, Inc. is honored with award winning excellence for efforts supporting the motion picture and television industry worldwide. The company stands firm for continued support with Family Entertainment and endorses "Good Valued" projects. The diversification of the company, keeps it in the main stream of changing technology and format trends. MPC continues to achieve it goals as a versatile development, production and distribution knowledgeable production company.
